Not specified. Mixed numbers and improper fractions are usually acceptable in the mark schemes. However I gave it as a decimal because it is usually the first answer given on the mark scheme.

I would agree with your UMS predictions.

Wasnt 9a 60x^2m^2? Find the area of the sector right? why do u have some weird answer for 9a?

For the very last question, i differentiated it again, then said as x is positive, the second differential must be positive, so it is a minimum. I didn't give the actual number, you think that's alright?

I didn't do the test, is 8 written correctly? Would you make it 32(2^2x) -7(2^x) +1 =0 then factorise/quadratic formula?

    Radians not degrees
Did it specify radians? Would I still get 2 marks for degrees?

no because \frac{1}{2} \theta r^2 only works if theta is in radians.

The formula for the area of a sector only works with radians

Thanks for getting this together OP. Just thought I'd convert it into a slightly more portable format. Hope it's of use

The 1/2*r^2*theta formula is only for radians I think

Ah nice that looks better, mine was a bit thrown together.

Thanks again for doing this, I came out of the exam worrying that I'd messed up but these solutions made me realise it hadn't gone that badly.
