If anything it should be unattractive so it doesn't draw any atention
If it was simply about drawing attention the hijab rulings should vary depending on where you are. In Europe, wearing it attracts more/unnecessary attention but in countries where it's the norm it would be the opposite.

You shouldn't feel like that though tbh. People will always have their own opinions. Changing what you do based on someone hatred towards you is the sign of defeat.

DOTH NOT BEEST DEFEATED MINE SISTER.
ok cool thanks. Just to say I partly stopped wearing my scarf because of what people thought and in school twice I got called a terrorist

I guess the hijab conceals the hair and well for a lot of people hair is an attractive feature on a person so by concealing it, you're taking that attractive aspect from the person. The niqab goes a step further and takes away a person's attractiveness from the face. Obviously trying to beautify yourself by other ways is defeats the purpose which i can say im guilty of sometimes myself.

A lot say that I should wear the niqab because they say my eyes are the best feature of my face which I thank Allah for.

So I wanted to start this thread to see what people thought about the hijab. I don't want any lengthy debates and I don't want religion to be brought up, I just want people to comment if they find the hijab attractive. The hijab if you look at it is supposed to be worn to guard the beauty however many go past that and try to beautify different things who defeats its purpose tbh. Not saying I don't defeat its purpose because I wear makeup here and there and try to beautify myself to fit standards because most people do that HOWEVER I want people to look past that and think about the hijab in it's simplest form and think if they saw someone who was wearing it , would they think it was attractive? Again, merely asking this for my own knowledge of how people think and I don't want people to start arguing with each other because it will go no where.
I think hijabs look amazing, especially when they're coordinated with the rest of the outfit. People are quite narrowminded about fashion already, it's a real shame.

Hijab displays innocence. Innocence is attractive by nature
