I'm an INFJ too!!! (Was borderline with ENFJ though)

I had no idea it was the rarest, I feel important now

You guys should look at the enneagram too, I'm a 7 on there (an unexpected 7, everyone thought I was a 5 or an 8)

Not really, but I don't think the four letters someone gets from whatever test they took is a reasonable basis for determining if personalities are compatible.
Of course not, but it does give a basis on what you can expect in terms of their sense of morality, work ethic and approach to other things. To base your identity on this test would be silly. To perhaps use it as a baseline on what to expect of other people would be understandable.

INFJ is just a poor man's INTJ

INTJ is an INFJ without any social skills.

The MBTI has been debunked, you know.
Depends how you mean. They're not widely used within employment or academic settings like they used to be, but in its basic form it's still a personality questionnaire in which the results reflect you as a person based on how you answer which is always going to be telling.

Fair enough. Still makes little sense to me I have to admit (didn't realise it had much to do with morality either; everyone from Gandhi to Hitler was supposedly INFJ), but hey ho, if you enjoy it then by all means

The fact that you dislike gloating, but other people on this thread use phrases like "I feel important now" shows how much difference there can still be.

I wouldn't say it's entirely useless or false, but one issue with Myers-Briggs is the absolute chasm between results which may arise simply from answering a single one of the many questions slightly differently. I mean, I used to get INFP, now I get INTP, and in general my thinking/feeling is like 55%. If I just changed one or two answers I'd suddenly leap into completely different territory. One is supposedly almost perfectly logical and has little respect for any emotional outlooks, while the other is highly emotional and artistic. It is very lacking in nuance.

INFJ here also, not sure if I have met one in real life -- know a fair few INFP and 2 ISFJ.

I tell people with the hope they're an INFJ too. I long to know someone that I can resonate with on various different levels of understanding. With the type being rare, it's often very hard to meet someone with a similar personality. :sigh: Not to show off, I dislike gloating. Just the longing to meet another INFJ. Does that make sense?
Looking at your sig, do you think in gifs as well? It has created many awkward laughing outbursts over the years when I do it.

I'm right on the cusp. I'm nominally ISFJ, but S could easily be N, and F could easily be T.

I find it very situational. If I answer with one scenario in mind I get one result, if I answer with a different one in mind I'll get a completely different answer. Not useless, but not fantastically useful either.
