I find pop and world music harder than classical, so I was gutted when barely any classical stuff came up . It is only 20% of the GCSE though, so even if it went badly hopefully I'll still be able to get an A*. I got 4/4 or 2/4 for every time signature and I think homophonic for every texture bar one where it asked how it changed from the beginning of the piece. Always makes me feel like I've made a mistake when I get the same answer for so many questions!

They gave a really horrible one, it was so chromatic that it was really hard to work out. I think I put a fourth but lots of other people said an octave, although I really couldn't hear that... Anyway, only worth 1 mark!

I don't suppose anyone could name one of the excerpts for me? It is the one that was instrumental and very upbeat, using a synth pad or weird instrument. It was very bright, atmospheric, high pitched melody and almost harrowing. Anyone know what piece it was?
