With no way to accurately simulate it, unless you're actually suggesting a "let's all hold hands and let everybody have a turn" system

God no. You just throw in modifies and that sort of thing.

    (Original post by Aph)
Yes I'd agree. Could potentially whip up an amendment? Possibly including things like the mid term dislike of government for by-elections? Could create come interesting mathematical formulas.
I'd rather have a system worked out completely and ready to be put forward before legislating for it

Socialists don't have a candidate either
Perhaps the Socialists and Greens understand, as I do, that sometimes partisan interest must come second to the greater good of progressivism in this country.

Aph That manifesto... is not the prettiest. I think you actually could have made a better one if you didn't go for the image method and used the TSR text editor. And in the Frankenstein Coalition I'm not at all sure you 'stood up for what you believed in'.

adam9317 Ahh so that's how they got you. They don't deserve you tbh.

Birchington The return of the Birch! Good luck 'ol pal.

george_c00per You were an excellent proxy and will be an even better MP - do us proud.

ABoyHasNoName Pretty typical Kipper manifesto. Always good to see a new face though.

Yes, that's what I meant. Working out a system to make it at least seem to work well. Like I said the mathematics of the simulation would be interesting.

So you do want to vote for me, the true left wing candidate

Or they just don't have the members to stand a candidate?

Whilst I'd like to see you as an MP (along with Adam and Birch), and have warmed to you since the EU debate, I'm voting for the Labour candidate I'm afraid.

Think whatever you want to think.

I think the really interesting question is why have the two biggest government parties have chosen to stand against each other?

I actually did, I saw that coalition as a way to bridge the gap in TSR politics and create a common discussion taking everyone's veiws into account. It didn't work too well though.

The RNLI has worked well without state oversight, at least as far as I know. *So why does the Labour endorsed candidate want to introduce this? *What are the other candidates' views on this proposal?

Other than the fact that that didn't happen...
For the record I confirm that Aph did not leave the Greens after not being re-elected as Deputy Leader. *He remained with the Greens for a period of time afterwards.

    It's woefully underfunded.

So you could have match funding as has happened with parts of the overseas aid budget?

While it would be appreciated if those pesky Liberals endorsed our candidate, I said I wouldn't mind them having their own and we both agreed to try it alone. It's not the most pragmatic of decisions, especially given that their chance to win is practically nil, but I understand there may be reasons to at least try.

I see that the UKIP candidate has no appreciation of cannon.
Or of facts in some parts of the manifesto put forward.

Why've you abandoned realpolitik? This might be exactly what TSR Labour need to counter the ongoing fiasco that is the RL Labour Party. And don't forget, if Labour wins it puts the Government a seat down and the Opposition a seat up with us equalling you in seats. Actually surprised you didn't try/couldn't convince the Libs given the situation.

But heck, no skin of my back.
