Never really, can't even drink anything with vodka if I can't taste it at all!
That's why I drink cocktails and amaretto usually. Can deal with cider too but that's about it.

I don't think it is. If the five year old is drinking pints or shots then yeh.
I recently saw a picture of my dad pouring Guinness into my mouth at about 2 haha. Can't remember whether I liked it but I doubt it.

A sip is nothing. It's not shocking at all. It won't do anything.

Exactly. There must be loads of posters on here who had sips of their dad's lager.

"Dad, can I have a sip of your beer please?"
    "OK Wilf"

    S'nuffin.

I'm never planning to find out for myself. So what does alcohol taste like? Is it as bad as it smells?

I hate everything except from cider and whiskey. Beer and lager still tastes the same to me as they did 2 years ago -- like vomit. Wine tastes like off juice, and I always question the wine-tasting industry whenever I try it. Cider is basically apply juice, and I ****ing love apple juice. The taste and sensation of whiskey is actually quite amazing, and it has the added benefits of being quite the efficient alcohol.
