If you're not sure, here are some common traits:

    Introvert:
    - Quiet and reserved in large groups or around unfamiliar people
    - More sociable around people they know well
    - Tends to keep emotions private
    - Very self-aware
    - Learns well through observation

    Extravert:
    - Approachable and find it easy to meet new people
    - Enjoys group work
    - Enjoys being at the centre of attention
    - Feels isolated by too much time spent alone
    - Tends to act first before thinking

    So, which one are you?

    I'm an introvert
By these definitions, I'm definitely an introvert, but I don't find myself in agreement with all of these descriptors. For instance, feeling isloated by too much time spent alone is a human trait, not an extrovert-specific psychological trait amongst humans.

    why?

Extraverts are likely to enjoy time spent with people and find themselves energised by social interaction.

Introverts prefer activities they can do alone or with one other close friend, activities such as reading, writing, thinking, and inventing.

I am starting university this year and I do not want to achieve something I will not be satisfied with, being an extrovert will certainly affect my final grade as I will be focusing more on socialising rather than the actual coursework.

I think there's a spectrum. It's hard to completely categorise yourself as one or the other. I pretty much display qualities of both introversion and extroversion.

It's not about balancing time, I find it difficult to produce any type of work before or after the event.

My concentration is getting worse, that's the reason.

There is nooooo way that 80% of people are actually introverts.

Either TSR is very unrepresentative of the general population, or some people dont really know what an introvert is.
If 80% of people are introverts, what am I then....?

Introvert to the extreme, I even get dizzy and feel out-of-body in rooms with a lot of people in them.

Bit of both. I am capable of being extremely extroverted and outgoing but do value my own time and like to just chill out now and again

I identify with the introverted side a lot more, however, I love group work and find myself at the centre of the class a lot, and also meet and banter with new people very easily. I prefer my alone time though, not really a party person and stress a lot before I get to one, but completely enjoy it and am raging about once I'm in. I always think before I act, and am always the first to try something regardless though, am very self aware through heavy introspection and also keep my emotions private. Safe to say I'm a bit of a different case
