Basic knowledge of geopolitics and history? Perhaps keeping an eye on the news and cross referencing sources?

This would be the list for attempted/successful US attempts at government toppling:

Research any of them and you have a good chance you'll find most west European nations involved. If you want more direct and modern examples of EU involvement: Libya, Syria, Ukraine. Besides, just look at UK arms dealing with the Saudis and the training of their police forces, or East European arms exporting to the Middle East.

There's plenty to say on the matter, but if you're even remotely interested, do the research
You still haven't provided concrete evidence.

Wont happen because the small minority who do protest will be vastly outnumbered by numerous anti-fa, anti-racist organisations

I can't waste time with someone who wants to be taught an entire area of study. I doubt you're even up to date with the news; how about the leaked report that the Pentagon has led to, and directly benefits from, the rise of ISIS. And dozens of other such terrorist organisations.

Even the mainstream media have articles on it.

If we would've had a proper debate and you had something to bring to the table, and had some pre-existing knowledge to the topic, I would've bothered then.

I don't see how you even have the nerve to ask to be taught everything about a topic you haven't even gotten into

Your attempts to make assumptions on my knowledge is neither constructive nor relevant. Try not to digress, please.

More to the point, let's try and stay away from secondary sources. As much as I respect the media, their inability to stay away from political bias remains common knowledge. The original document, source, does not seem to clearly and unambiguously suggest that the US funded ISIS. Your evidence does not stand up.
