For York, its because I did the "Next Step York" summer school. (details)

For Edinburgh, its because I'm from a postcode with low progression to HE and go to a college where A-level attainment is below the national average. (details)
ah I see, I did the Cambridge summer school but unfortunately the same principle doesn't apply there, wish it did lol. Good on you though! both excellent university's!!

    Post-results: TBD

    Future ambitions
MSci in Physics, hoping to then go and do post-grad somewhere. Currently fallen in love with Southampton Uni, and also the chance to perhaps do MSci with particle physics

I'm tired of the big reaction when I do awful. I've failed everything I've tried and I don't think anyone can grasp the fact that this is another one.

    Future ambitions
I'm unsure, I wanted to do computer science all this time but I don't think I'll go anywhere.

    Chemistry - predicted: A achieved : A
    Biology - predicted A achieved : A
    German - predicted A achieved : A
    Maths - predicted A achieved : A
    General Studies - predicted A achieved : A

    Comments
Was feeling negative about chemistry and biology but a bit more confident after seeing the grade boundaries today! Expecting a B in General studies but more worried about the others!

After results: So happy!!!! Can't believe it 😆😆

    Future
My goal is to study vet medicine at either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

    • Further Maths: Predicted A / Achieved ?
    • Physics: Predicted A / Achieved ?
    • Chemistry: Predicted A / Achieved ?
    Comments and reactions
Before Results - After seeing grade boundaries I'm more confident for Maths&FM, Physics was fairly low as well but Chemistry was quite high (~80% for an A, on new spec), hoping it goes well.

    Future ambitions
No idea, probably Natural Sciences or if Chemistry goes bad then just Physics.

    What are the "Module Marks"?

My daughter has just had her AS results (still count 50% of her A Levels in Wales) and we were expecting to see "raw score" or "UMS" but it only has "Module Mark" I.e.

    Government and Politics: Grade A (Module Mark 190 / 200 across the two papers, 98 + 92)

    Geography: Grade A (Module Mark 177 / 200 ditto, 92 + 85)

    Law: Grade A (Module Mark 166 / 200 ditto, 94 + 72)

    (Predicted 3 A's)

She can see she's got 3 A's, which is good, but she wants to know how good!?

She's thinking of resisting the 72 in Law 1 as this was normally her best subject.

Just got my results in an email, I ended up getting:

    Maths (Full A2 level): A
    Chemistry: A
    Physics: B

Bit dissapointed with Physics, since it's not an A But I'm actually quite happy. Maths isn't an A* either, but I only need to retake C4 in order to get an A* next year which is perfectly do-able.
    Overall I'm happy
Good luck everyone else on TSR

    • Business: Mock Exam Results: D / Achieved B
    • Art: No grades this year
    • Photography: No grades this year

Happy with Business, bit disappointed with my marks for the exam paper for Media but I can't complain. Extremely curious about my predicted Art and Photography results, I thought I'd be getting them today, too.
