I try so hard not to think of this, but like when I'm trying to get to sleep and it's so quiet and dark, I get really scared. My mind goes all over the place.
Urgh I hate that...just staring up at the ceiling, in the darkness....

As is said in lord of the rings, death is not the end, rather only the beginning of the next stage of our being.

    You're lucky.

But I suppose those who fear death appreciate life more as well.

I can't let go of memories or people, or anything. I learn things from what I experience, I try and take in everything. And it's all so so beautiful.

    Nah, it makes you nice

Hmmm, did you hear about the old couple who locked themselves in their own car in their garage with the exhaust pipe feeding back into the car through the window? So they died together holding hands, because they couldn't bear the thought of either of them dying first. Isn't that so sweet, but sad?

When I'm dreading something my way to get over it is to think about all the great things I have to look forward to between now and then so I can concentrate on looking forward to those rather than the bad thing. Just think about everything you have to look forward to... university, getting married, having kids, becoming a grandmother even! I don't even contemplate death yet.

You should just watch disney movies. Especially the LION KING. They teach you to deal with it in a good way.

Yeah, and I should especially keep rerunning the part where the dad dies. Again and again and again and again.

Ive been thinking about this alot too, infact having exactly the same thoughts.

If we die now or when were 80 what difference does it make? We wont remember anything, so the quality of your life now doesnt actually matter, cuz when its all over we wont remember anything...

I imagine death being like sleeping..you dont know youve been sleeping until you wake up, but when youre dead, you never wake up..

I suppose it is kind of sweet but suicide is such a terrible thing.

And anyway, each person will be buried/cremated alone...

If there is heaven though, I'd ask God to give me a life identical to this one. I want to see my mother's face...i want to see all the people I know get on with the day to day activities that make us so human. I don't want a heaven.

Also, another thing is, Im really tempted to follow some super healthy lifestyle in order to live as long as possible. I know it wont be that enjoyable, but life is all we have..so the longer you live, the better
