psh i was so cocky after i went and did all the vector questions i could find, so when i flicked over that page to see the vector q i just. cracked fingers. i can ace this.

but nah lol i ended up w 3 pages of scribbles and dissatisfaction. which also, ironically, summed up the entire paper. just give me 2 hours to do the one vector question i promise i can eventually figure it out
did you the edexcel c4 exam this year? honestly that was me as well, loads of scribbles on the vector question. if I was able to complete that question properly I could have aced the c4 exam, because I was fine with everything else. I'm sooooooo annoyed ugh 😑

I will be starting maths A-level this september so I need some help.

Which part of maths A-level do you think was/is the hardest. And also which part of maths A-level do you think I should pay close attention to in the first year.

Could you please also give reasons why. Thank you!!!
For me, the entire AS. I dropped it after that so wouldnt know what delights you are faced with in C3/4/S2

What was bad about the AQA core 4 exam this year?
it wasn't a "bad" paper compared to the other years, im just shite at maths in general LOL i scraped a C in the core 4. Didn't like the trig identity question on this years paper - the last q. Nor the last part of the vector q. and i didn't like how there could be massive ~10 mark question where the second, bigger part could be easily done w the right method but then the initial input values would depend on the answer of the first part - those of which i often found myself stuck on. i'm sure there's more i can whinge about, but 2 months after the exam its all a blur :/
