I find it strange when people willingly ruin the best 3 years of their life, by living at home and having to commute, just to save a few hundred quid
I'm saving an estimate of £15,000 and that's not including the stuff I will need to buy if I lived in accommodation. I'm not saving a few hundred quid.
I don't know if you discuss this kind of staff but.. Is a 45 commute to Uni too long? Watch

I did for both my masters degrees as but I only had to be at uni 2-3 days a week.

45 min is not too long I have to commute 45 miles between home and uni - 90 miles in total. It takes me less than an hour when the traffic is not too bad.
You will have many opportunities in the future to move out specially with a full time job, which will makes things easier financially.
Enjoy the fact that you have less expenses at the moment and dedicate your energy on your studies! Best of luck!
