Songs that help you through Dark Times

Music is my go to when I feel low.

Favourite song has to be Coldplay - Fix You.

Also like James Bay at the minute because his music is so calming - love his song 'Need the sun to break'.

Few others I go to are :

    I won't let go - rascal flatts
(Mum plays this song to me when I'm down - lyrics are so good when you feeling low)

Humble & Kind - Tim McGraw
(Reminder of the simple things in life)

On My Way - Charlie Brown
(So upbeat - gets me motivated to keep going)

    Everybody Hurts - R.E.M
(Reminder I'm not the only one struggling)

You are more - tenth avenue north
(Not religious but Christian music is so uplifting)

    For me:
Blue October- basically all of it
    Irridescent (Linkin Park)
    Black Parade (Greenday)
    Morning Sadness (Madina Lake)
And a few other things from "dark" artists like that :P

Basically listened to Blue October non-stop for a year until my depression lightened up. Honestly BO and my (now) bf pretty much saved me. They were there for me through all of it.
