It's a sign of perfect sanity.

Do it all the time. Everywhere. Even when people are watching.

I think you're weird if you don't talk to yourself.

If yes, then in what type of situations?

I do sometimes when I am making a sandwich or boiling an egg, like I'm on a cookery show.

Or, if I'm doing my makeup, I pretend that I have a YouTube channel.

    :getmecoat:

Making a big mistake by not making this anon but what the heck.
Sometimes I pretend I have a utube channel and explain physics concepts to imaginary viewers lol. I'm getting quite good at it

I assume the OP doesn't mean psyching yourself up in the mirror but ordinary self-talk. Why is that a loser thing to do?

    EDIT: Nvm...

A good 90% of the time i provide a running commentary pf my life, most of the time i dont even realise i am doing it. Pretty regularly have conversations with myself about something if i need to think it through which, apparently, is really wierd.

Sometimes when I'm out driving or at work because I can't afford to make a mistake and it's mostly just me saying facts like 'okay, now I need to shift into second gear' or whatever

    Yeah all the time.

When I was a kid I used to talk to my 'wall' about how I felt that day, what happened and what my goals were for the next day. It was basically an auditory diary that I kept with myself.

Nowadays, I just think out loud more than anything. Like if I see something perplexing or something I disagree with on my phone I'll talk it out - obviously only in the confines of my own room.

When I'm studying/working through a problem set sheet, yah, I'll probably talk to think then too.

Idk, I don't see it as being weird it's just sometimes easier to convey thought in words out loud than to just keep it in your head.

I lived on my own for two weeks and started talking to myself. I don't think it counted that cats were present at the time...
