Which is worse---failing or never trying?

But what if trying kills you?
    At least you tried, right?
Much better than not trying at all.

Winner is just a loser who tried one more time.
    I love this

never trying if I hadn't tried at what I did I would be working for some deadbeat place earning £1,500 a month instead I make that in a couple of days by working for myself

depends i guess, with parts of my life i know for a fact that never having down something would have been far less damaging than my failing at it. But at the same time, while that failure still affects me negatively - its made me who i am. Plus, a fair few of my regrets are that I never actually went for something even though failure was likely

    Failing due to never trying*

    (you can succeed without trying)
