My life has been substantially better in comparison the past 3 years, hopefully I ve had a lifetimes bad luck out of the way in my earlier years.
The worst thing about things with me is my mum rarely offers me any comfort when things happen, and I haven't seen my dad for several years.

Yeah, £5 from my purse in school
the thief tried to be smart as well, only stealing the coins and not the blatant notes in order to not be obvious

Our house has been robbed a couple of times. My mum had her car stolen after she left the keys in the keyhole. My grandmother was robbed at gunpoint back in our home country. Sad thing about that is she's 70+ and has a paralysed arm due a stroke a few years ago. I personally haven't been robbed though.

I bought my grandson a new laptop for college and one of the kids on the estate got into my house and pinched it. Grandson was devastate as was I. Saved up for it out of my pension.

Why is it people always rob me of what I would hate to lose, but not of what I'd love to lose?

Just the odd bit of food out the fridge, as far as I'm aware. More generally, people wouldn't dare
