oh god.
you're getting me worried for uni now (im going to ucl)
If you mainly stick to student nights then you should be fine. Otherwise, a typical drink (eg.Vodka Redbull, SoCo Lemonade) in central london is usually between £7.50-£10.

When at uni, usually about £20 if its student night or we only pay to get into one place, otherwise it might be a bit more but its never usually over £30.

I've been to the Imperial bar a couple of times, I can't recall the exact prices but I remember being struck by it being rather cheap. I believe the other ones are similarly so.

On student nights here they tend to have one or two drinks on promo, rather than everything cheap.
So most drinks remain the same price, but they might have an offer on something like Double Vodka Red Bull so that its £3 instead of £9.

Uni bars are usually alot cheaper themselves though, its just the other clubs in London which are dear.

I live on the outskirts of Manchester so it's:
10-20 quid on a taxi back, depending on how evil the taxi driver is.
5 getting in to a club.
10 quid on drink.

How so? £2.50 drinks on average, £5 entrance fee, you can only drink so much, lol! Unless your drinking the ridiculous priced drinks then maybe yea.

Sure, for a girl outside of london at a student club on a weeknight.

London; 8 - 12 entry, 3.50 a beer (up to 5 in posh clubs but they generally suck) , 5.50+ a double, easily have 6 - 8 in a night. If you want junk food or pay for travel you are looking at £50 without blinking, let alone if you are going to a restaurant or cocktail bar before the club, or buying a girl a drink, or doing shots, or taxing home.

On average, £20. Went out last night with three guys and bought two rounds each on that and had enough to get some chips or what-not afterwards plus we shared a cocktail pitcher!

Tonight, though, it'll probably be nearer £30.

Wow, I'd love a night out to party with you, sounds like it would be adventurous!

Depending on where I go, it can be anything from £10 to £30, though I'm not a very heavy drinker and only go for fancy expensive drinks as a novelty from time to time.

Bottle of vodka between a few friends with some kick saves about £30. I generally spend about triple the amount if I go out sober.

Warmup drinks ftw, everyone getting steaming and hyped up for the night out.
