Ohhh, I thought this said "funniest job", and was going to tell you all about a woman who applied to a pub my boyfriend worked at, who had worked in a meat packing factory in the boning room. Maybe another time

Condom tester.

Is that a real job ?
The job really exists. Durex advertised for couples around here at Uni recently actually. You get paid to just have lots and lots of sex, and report percentage of breakage etc.

Not fun when your student messes up the go around procedure and does something dangerous like raise the flaps before going full throttle. That's caused many a fast heart beat amongst instructors I'd imagine.

It is fun poling round in light aircraft though, that's for sure.

Man, that job would be sweet! I always think about how I'd use music I like in film scores.
:five:

Same here.. I often listen to songs and think "hm - that would work really well with such-and-such type of scene". What a geek!

I'd love to have a job picking out songs for film soundtracks.
Yeah, and for trailers too!

What about one of those jiggy boys in groups like Blazin' Squad or those people who accompany rappers who appear in all the videos but other than "being there" don't appear to do anything of use - a bit like Bez from the Happy Mondays/Black Grape. Was going through the sleeve of an old Black Grape CD and Bez has credits for "vibes". (He does make great telly though!)

Boxers have their own retinue too - wonder what stuff they get up to? Then you've got the job of bodyguard to celebs - which I guess involves throwing punches at miscreant fans/dejected stalkers/naughty paparazzos.

Or you could be the camera man for a tv channel that no one watches - think of all those channels that only seem to appear on late night digital after you've come back from the pub and you wake up the next morning thinking "did they really show that on telly last night?" I'm sure the parliamentarians weren't thinking of "Babestation" when they passed the necessary legislation to allow digital TV.

You could also be a letters editor for one of those chat magazines - things like "Real People" or "Take a Break" magazine - which apparently sells more copies per week than the Observer and the Independent on Sunday put together. Frightening stuff for Guardian readers ( - outnumbered by people who would rather read articles such as "My cabbage and peas diet won me back my man!"). Imagine the stuff that arrives in your inbox every morning.
