Best anime in my opininon are Cowboy Bebop and Dragonballz. To the above poster, don't you think dragonball and dragonball gt aren't in the same league as dragonball z?

Ghost in the shell is also pretty good but I prefer the aforementioned.

I agree with that- I watched Dragonball Z before DB and DBGT and was quite disappointed with both of them. DB was slightly boring and DBGT just done my head in with that sodding robot and that pan girl. I hated both of them so much, so I just couldn't stand it!

Heh, Dragonball is a classic, albeit sometimes tiresome...

    "Huahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ..."

    Three episodes later:

    "Huhaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a.."

It takes a couple of episodes to get one of those fireballs going and three more to see it come to nothing.

I feel avatar is a bit, for lack of a better word, childish. It's just that I saw at Clarks a little magazine for the kids with that in...
Avatar is basically what you get from Americans trying to be Japanese. :ninja:

    Dragonball Z. :suith:

    Dragonball = Boring
    Dragonball GT = Annoying
Mind, after saying that, I almost cried after the final episode.
    That's right, CRIED. :blushing:

I'd say watch Dragonball Z. I used to love that show, saw like every episode and still watch it sometimes. I saw DBZ before DB so the order is a bit mixed up for me and DB seemed a bit boring in comparison as a result. It's still good to see how Goku and the others looked before DBZ though!

If you read the thread, then you'd know I've already seen it.

And I've just started Naruto now, it seems ok, just a touch long I guess.

    Read or Die OVA.
    Tsukihime.
    Clannad. (Sweet but sad )
Claymore. (this show in particular is brilliant, but the lead character is female, as are most of the surrounding cast with only three exceptions, so I don't know if that might put boys off watching it. Basically it's about a group of superpowered female soldiers who kill demons for money in specialised units and the problems they encounter being half human and half demon. They must be careful never to use their maximum powers otherwise their demon side will take over and they will go on killing sprees. Whenever a soldier (i.e. Claymore) feels that this is happening, she sends her supporting officer a card as an anonymous way to ask the officer to kill them before they become 'Awakened'. )
SaiKano (aka My Girlfriend the Ultimate Weapon) WARNING: Do NOT watch if you like your shows to be upbeat or humourous. One of the most poignant downer endings EVER.
    Speaking of sad...
NaruTaru (aka ShadowStar) is not just depressing but nihilistic. Yeah you thought Evangelion was bad...

Hey I liked The Wallflower. What do you think the chances of Sunako and Kyouhei ending up being a couple?
