OK they may not offer Vet Med (I'm sure they did offer programmes a few years ago) but what makes you think it's not a good institution (it's techinically not a uni but an HE/university college)? It's very good in the programmes it does offer which aren't all agriculture and livestock programmes. Land management/surveying, business, engineering and countryside management.

To say it's a place for thick farmers is quite insulting. Same with suggesting they offer useless degrees (or cover areas where a degree isn't necessary). A degree is necessary in engineering, surveying and, to a lesser extent, countryside, business management and the "farming" areas.

    So my point still stands.

This is true. Im going in September to do Food and Nutrition.
oh and they do offer Vet courses.

In my offer they still want 2 B's out of my 3 A levels. Okay its not as hard at quiet a few Uni's to get in, but most of the courses do require good grades even if its not AAA.

Probably Bolton and TVU. I wouldn't say UEL though. Couple people I know applied there, with B's and C's & still got conditional offers. I'd have thought UEL would have given unconditional, heh.

University of East London. I've heard stories of people getting in without any a levels.
I think you'll find thats the same with quite a few universities.

Is it really necessary to be so pedantic?

I know someone who got into Wolverhampton and basically failed the two A Levels they needed for it but they had to do another year before the actual degree.
