Okay, I'll give an example - my own college
On the prospectus, it offered
Ancient History
Modern History

We still call them both History
well your college did not need to do this,
but as they did and i have no reason to disbelieve you your point stands.

and im off for sleep.

night.

I was going to say Further Mathematics, as I take the subject and can find it really hard. However, alot of my F.Maths friends keep going on about how hard Physics is.

I dont take Physics, but I know plenty of people that do. So many U's this year

Thinking about the question again, 'any' art subject I would find difficult. I think I would be lucky to pass if I took a art, yet those with talent and creativity will find it really easy.

I would find Chem/Physics/Maths equally as impossible so I randomly chose physics as I can't choose all 3 =D

I did Maths, Further Maths, Physics and History for my A-levels, but attempted to do Chemistry in AS. Chemistry is horrible, so I chose that... It's too boring to be easy, and it explains nothing, just makes grandiose statements because it is a poor syllabus.

Also: Anybody who thinks A-level Physics is anything other than a lovely walk in the park, with free ice cream and friendly squirrels to do your bidding, is wrong!

I take English Language, Economics, Geography and Geology, and I did Philosophy last year. I'd say Economics and Geology are fairly evenly matched in terms of difficulty, for me.

I know I'd struggle immensely with Maths and Physics.

This thread doesnt make sense! Arrghh it's so annoying!

How could you say one thing is easier because it has a lower percentage, when it could just be that only 2 people do it or something!

Lawl. A-level physics and mathematics at A-level are very easy.

Chemistry is conceptually very difficult at A-level standard.

It depends on preception - some may find other subjects harder than Physics or Physics than their other subjects.

Chemistry consists of a lot of quantum Physics at A-level, which is not substantiated with reasoning and evidence... Hence why I hated it.

Maths was fun, Physics is just a talent of mine, apparently.

Pah Chemistry is my easiest subject.. Maths has got to be the worst - I'd say on average I spent about 10 times more time revising for Maths than Chemistry (Jan exams). And I still got a lower UMS (just) in Maths.

Although I haven't done the full A level of either, so things may change further down the year.
