I wrote 9 pages overall, what about you?
I must have written 6 pages in total- 3 for Mr Birling and 3 for Of Mice and Men but I crossed loads of stuff out so it should count as 5 and a half pages in length.

I think I missed a few minor things out (nothing major) as I was so nervous and I somehow added a section not on my draft- relating capitalism vs socialism to the traditional morality play (God vs Lucifer) in the bit describing Birling as 'portentous' as Priestley was writing for a Christian audience for the audience to relate better to the message.

How many sides of paper did you use for section A (Inspector Calls, Crucible etc)?

I thought the OMAM was literally impossible I found it so so hard and I've completely messed it up!! I really struggled to find language features to analyse in the extract I just wrote about the violent verbs (screamed, cried, writhed, begged) and the "flopping like a fish" image and it was so so so awful...then in part b I was so lost, I wrote about the shooting of candys dog reflecting the brutality of treatment of the weak, about Curley using brutality to enforce his social power and about brutality being a source of entertainment on the ranch (the fight at Christmas)

I am so disappointed with myself I did it so wrong I'm going to fail and get a D

In the AIC question I answered 17 (about birling), said how he was as a businessman and other stuff but did not copy out the quote from the question or exactly analyse it....
    Will I lose marks?

I did this or if not less, 9 pages is way too much, the examiners like it to be to the point and I highly doubt 9 pages is too the point, so yours sound perfect.

I liked this exam last years was eaiser though. On this one the hardest bit was talking about how Steinbeck presents the death of curleys wife.

Probably not because you barely had to talk about the quote mostly the other views of him 😀

You can't predict the poems. All the poems that could have come up had already come up, unless they decide to test us on the previously Foundation Tier only poems.

    I'm doing Character and Voice.
