Does that mean Mourinho won't go after Stones now?

Also Pogba will just tease Man Utd until he gets an offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona.

I don't think Barca can afford him, they're having enough trouble retaining Suarez Neymar and Messi + they're doing something with their stadium as well...

Real Madrid can probably get him but then that would free up Kroos or Modric to leave which is equally good for us if we're looking for a CM.

Barca will find money for a marquee signing every season or two. What trouble are they having?

Chelsea/Man City would probably beat you to signing either of those players.

city closing in on Aubameyang is a scary prospect...

Their attack will be Aguero,Aubameyang,Silva,De bruyne and with the likes of Sterling and Navas if Guardiola can bring the best out of them..

They won't have issues with marquee signings, but wages have raised an issue apparently. Not surprising though when you've got that front 3.

Hmm interesting. The finances of Barca/Real Madrid are a bit murky so hard to tell what is going on.

Real Madrid must equally have some high earners in Ronaldo, Bale etc?

According to Forbes, Madrid were no2 in the world when it came to operating profits and made $162million (behind United- $190million). Their finances aren't a problem lol. Money making machine.

Barcelona, surprisingly were 6th so guess it isn't as clear cut.

Madrid will never have issues with finance. They just get bailed out by the government anyway

Talent + hard work = success.
Unfortunately there is no "formula" to success.

You can work as hard as you like but if the manager doesn't fancy you then you won't get your chance.

Barcelona's board aren't the best at making money via commercial deals (like Woodward can), they won't be able to afford Pogba and his wages, especially when they still need to offer Neymar and Messi and new contract. Madrid are fine with that.

Btw Chelsea is not a more attractive club than us right now.

Fair enough although their revenues still seem to be the 2nd highest in the world just behind Real Madrid?

I think players would still see Chelsea as more attractive. Or is having Europa League next season making Man Utd more attractive than Chelsea?

Don't know what it is exactly but I know they definitely need to free their wage bill immediately.

Let's flip this, why would Chelsea be more attractive?
