In an answer to the original question, I would say no - sorry ladies. The fact is you have to take a large amount of time of when you decide to have kids and that costs money. All I would say is; it's unfair but men will probably always earn more than women, and it's just a fact of life. Sorry if I have offended anyone.

If women worked the same long hours, moving location, in the same danger, and didn't take maternity, then they would actually be paid more than men.
