Well, i managed to avoid multiple infections. Bit of a runny nose was all I got.
Lucky you :yep: I slept for nearly 3 days straight afterwards, mum got worried cos I wasn't in contact and hadn't been on FB...took me wee while to recover to say the least!

Yeah I've done Edinburgh to London and then London to Glasgow before...this was during jailbreak so was basically non stop travel for a few days and I caught multiple viral and bacterial infections which was not good fun :nah:
I refuse to get the coach but when I'm 18 I may start as couchsurfing sounds fun

Avoiding long distance bus journeys sounds like a good idea to me.:yep:

I was going for a week of sailing out of Portsmouth, so it would have been a disaster if I'd been really sick/exhausted.

I dunno, they're just not very interesting. And everyone's always in a rush.

    Indeed :P.
Trains from Scotland to London are nothing to laugh at. I've heard of people having to travel overnight and stay in a station to sleep!
    So uncomfortable!

Depends who you're travelling with and when... the constant wifi, free meal and free alcohol makes it well worth anything up to a tenner more IMO.

Weird, every term I have to do Scotland to London and when I dated a guy in London I was doing Glasgow to London every 3 weeks, it's only 4 hours 30 from Glasgow Central to Euston :yep:

I think it's when you have to arrive early you have to do awkward things like that. A kid at my SS Trust summer school came from Moray and he started traveling like a day before!
