How is everyone organising their folders/how big are they/do you take them to school or keep them at home?
I have a Lever Arch file for each subject in different colours haha
I live quite close to sixth form (10 minutes) so at lunch i take some lever arch files home, drop them off, and take back the ones i need for the afternoon lessons, so it works well

    What's everyones timetables like?
I have Monday mornings and Friday afternoons off, so good!

I have a ringbinder for chemistry which fits in my bag nicely, and then for maths and biology we just got exercise books, so I could carry it all in my rucksack if it weren't for my massive lever arch file for geography! I carry that around in a plastic bag, because - once you take into account a textbook in each subject, plus a planner, pencil case etc - it doesn't actually fit in my bag. I usually bring all the folders and books I need for the day, every day, and then take them all home at the end of the day for the sake of extra work.
Textbooks are so annoying. Including the fact all my teachers are making us pay deposits of £5-£10 for each textbook. Are you using one lever arch file for both human/physical geography together?

I have done that occasionally too since I live 2 minutes away from the school :awesome:
My timetable is alright, I have 3 lessons everyday and never 2 frees after each other (which is good for me because we have to stay in during frees and 2 hours of frees would be so boring). Lucky you don't have to go in Monday mornings. On Monday I don't have a lesson until 10am but still have to go in and sit there.

I have two full days a fortnight {Wednesday and Friday of week A}, and I have at least one free every day bar those two {and we have week A and week B at my school}. I have a lot of first lesson frees, but we have registration so I still have to go in Sometimes when I have a free last, I'll go home, but I usually stay.

Really?! At my school we get them all for free, we just have to pay if we damage them at the end of the year.

Oooh are you at a school sixth form? mine didn't have one, so i went to a separate one.. was pretty scary as it has 1800 pupils O-O
that sucks that you have to stay in for frees :O i'd hate that, and plus it means i can sleep in for so long on Mondays, as my lesson starts at 2:10 :')
Luckily we only have registration twice a week too, and they are on days i was in first lesson anyway

I know. At first they wanted me to pay £23 (that I wouldn't get back) for a psychology book.

Yeah I'm at my school's sixth form. I quite like it since there's only about 50 people in my year and 30 in the year above. It's weird because now everyone is friends with the older year yet for the whole 5 years throughout school, we never spoke. :nooo: The only bad side is, some teachers still treat you like you're 5. Is college a good environment? I always thought if I didn't have to go in until lessons, I'd feel like there was no community because people wouldn't socialise in frees?

That is true to an extent, but quite a lot of people just stay in i do some days, but definitely not on a Monday
Yeah it's really good! the teachers treat us like adults, we call them by their first names, and they're just not patronising at all, just genuinely helpful
    what subjects are you taking?
Because the sixth form is so large, everyone from the different schools have just stuck together which is terrible :/ except me haha, i've found a new group and i don't think my school friends are pleased

I have a ring-binder folder that I got from Wilkinsons. I bought a pack of plastic wallets, but I only use eight of them. I do four subjects, but I have eight teachers, so I have one wallet for each teacher. When we start other units, I'll have multiple wallets per teacher, but for now it's working fine. I take it to school with me everyday.

I have exercise books for maths and for one of my physics teachers, so I only put worksheets and tests in there, but for everything else, it's all of my notes.
Sorry, I didn't see that you had replied.
Aren't the wallets getting really full/heavy? that's a good idea though because it will help you later on in seeing the different sections. I'll probably have to use file dividers for mine.

I have my 2 favourite teachers this year though so s'all good!

I didn't do History GCSE Luckily I'm not the only one in my class.
I'm loving the Nazi Germany/Hitler side but the Henry VIII stuff is boring me kinda because I remember doing nothing but Henry the VIII in years 7-9.

Loving Geography and RE. Psychology is the only one I'm hating at the minute but I'm planning on dropping it at AS-level:hmpf:

I have 2 teachers for each side of things which is why I've started both but I only get to see each of them like 4 times over a 2 week period.
