I also put an open switch as well, but don't know if that will be accepted.
To be honest i dont think the switch was open will be accepted because the switch could be closed to start the experiment but idk, dont want to have a huge debate over it

The answers bloody gravity, so stop arguing weight. If you put weight there is clearly not intelligence in that brain
Excuse me?

Wow you must be insanely clever to be saying things like that
I really want to make sure I send you the mark scheme when AQA have marked this paper because usually they accept both!

If the diode was the wrong way round to the battery then yeah it's right

Look at AQA's previous grade boundaries
You'll find June 2012 P2 for an A* it was 41/60

The switch was open.
Voltmeter in series.
Ammeter in parallel.

I think there was some others but there's a large debate over it.
ohh i didnt think the witch was open would count so i didnt put it :L -_-

^^

(Original post by ThatGirlx)
As long as you wrote them seperately and used more scientific key words thats right
E.g. Voltmeter is connected in series
Ammeter is connected in
Parallel
i didnt put them separately i put them as 1 :/

(Original post by Minecraft27)
I got that, but I couldn't think of a second thing, so I made a wild guess and said that the diode was the wrong way round. Lame I know, but you never know, it might just be right.
OMG :five: i put the exact same thing !!! haha :L

THIS WILL SETTLE EVERYTHING!! THIS IS A QUESTION IN THE P2 JUNE 2009 PAPER (OLD SPEC):
The diagram shows a steel ball-bearing falling through a tube of oil.The forces, L and M, act on the ball-bearing- 'What causes force L?' (FORCE L IS FACING DOWNWARDS)

ANSWER IS (IN MARK SCHEME):
gravity/ accept weight
do not accept mass /
accept gravitational pull/
Yes but thats not the question we had- gravity causes weight so gravity is the correct answer in that scenario.I have always learnt that gravity causes weight and weight is the actual force.
