By this, you mean the Tories want to build homes on unstable and unsuitable land, joining together small villages and ruining the British countryside.
Instead of using brownfield land and other ways such as the Green proposal to convert council chambers and meeting rooms. More houses which are inaccessible without a car as the Tories do not support a good public transport system.

I applaud the honourable member for using the train. The London to Leeds service was provided by a successful company in the public sector until the Tories and Lib Dems put it out to private profit, and to do so extended the franchises of some very poor operators for a year or so extra.
Well **** off am I paying for a bus or car when the train in £2 each way

And I'm pretty sure a Labour government would also have put the line up for tender.

Read our infrastructure plans then say that.

    Spurious.

You haven't outlined any policies in your manifesto; I doubt many people will take a leap of faith!

Greens have consistently opposed the renewal of Trident. If we were to do so then it would be at the expense of other defence, as the policies since the White Paper post Suez have shown. Ironically more cuts to conventional defence have taken place under Tory than Labour governments and UKiP do not propose where funding for their defence policies cones from.

Or mention the policies they're going to implement/believe in, or at least put some effort into their manifesto.

I genuinely hadn't noticed that their manifesto was even there.

What is the position of the Chair in a party like Labour?

I run internal party elections(except ones in which I'm standing), remind people to vote, send out party updates, enforce and in theory would be able to veto a whip if one was ever set, have usergroup controls, generally act as a member of the leadership team when it comes to being consulted on things etc, and now that United has gone awol I would step in if Fez fell off a Welsh mountain or something. I'd guess it's quite similar to the Commissar for Internal Affairs in the Socialists?

That's exactly what it'd be. The Commissar for External Affairs (CE) would do some of that as well since the roles cross over, but recruiting etc. is technically reserved for the CE and running Officer elections is technically the job of the CI, but I've (CE) done that recently for the CI election

In terms of MP elections, I'd probably do that unless I was in it, so we'd get the Speaker to if the CI and DC both wanted to be an MP

Running elections is my favourite part actually - makes me feel powerful

You Socialists do seem to operate remarkably well without a leader - I guess it must come of not having a large active user pool.
