Gradual, but it took a while to realise how right id actually shifted.

Bit like me when I shifted left then. Heard Corbyn was running in the leadership election, thought I was on the right(ish) of the party, read his policies, realised I not only agreed with most of what he said but thought some of it was a bit right-wing, proceeded to have a lightbulb 'I'm actually a radical socialist' moment.

    No you didn't.

Nigel Farage MEP I'm wondering what you make of this. Perhaps you were proved right when you were saying that the liberals had no backbone.
I have been away for the last two days but a leader who supports a budget the leader disagrees with because the leader wants to keep the peace with Labour is not a strong leader.

Depends how you define 'strong'. It may have been the best option for the Liberals at the time, and the ridiculous point of all this is that you can't possibly know enough about what's going on to come to a solid judgment unless you have dupes in the liberal party.

The second most important member in a coalition government not agreeing with the most important item written, but supporting it for an easy coalition is not strength.

The budget as a whole had some really good things in it. Imperion's plans in Culture, Communications and Connectivity are a good example of that.

I did support the budget. But the costing was off and I wasn't happy with absolutely everything. The budget was necessary to outline the plans of Liberal Cabinet ministers.

The finance bill is another matter. Overall though, you can only comment on my leadership externally. I care more about what my party think than what others think, and as long as my party believe me to be a good leader, I am happy.

Labour is a party that believes in and stands up for honesty and transparency so I won't lie to you, we are desperately short of members and struggled to fill our seats. We have an active core, we're just overstretched right now due to losing United and Junaid to inactivity, Ray to Speakership, Saoirse to a ban and you to conservatism. We have recognised that we have a problem and are taking steps to remedy this situation.
