Wenger has said the same thing at least twice already this summer. Why you all acting surprised?

I really really hope wenger is just messing (which to be fair, he has done before)

As if not.. then I would really question his ability to see whats happening.. I swear anyone could see that Sanchez just looks better when played on the wing..

Even tonight that is where his best moments came from..

If Sanchez plays up top he needs support which would worry me away from home, but I thought he was excellent tonight. Maybe a change in formation?

Also shout out to Monreal who became a bit of a scapegoat last season, I think he's been much better recently defensively...he's always been very good going forward.

Congratulations, Arsenal! 1-0 victory against Besiktas. The gunners are in the group phase of the champions-league again. That is the only one what counts, no matter how hard it was to win, wasn't it?

Played out their skins and still barely managed to get through. Doesn't that say something about arsenal?
On a serious note what team do you actually support?

tbh Arsenal were never going to lose or draw this one. Arsenal are very consistent at what they do over the long run, we've all come to know that. Though to be fair it's very close that they didn't!

Ozil was so bad today  Totally perplexed to why Wenger is playing him on the left. That formation generally is awful for the players playing imo.

Debuchy is a massive liability defensively isn't he?

Wilshere had a good game as did Flamini and Cazorla.

Giroud out til end of year, ouch. You can't not buy a striker now. Suicidal if Wenger doesn't.

So I was there and were we alright and thinking the red was one of the endless mistakes the ref made ?

It looked like a great tackle to everyone around our seats.

    Got the job done
It was a yellow for sure, and he should have been sent off in the first half for the penalty claim. Besiktas got a bit unlucky, one of those two claims should have been given. Both marginal albeit, but it's fair to give one if not both.

I don't miss Sagna one bit.
This. It's not even about boasting or anything, it's just a fact. We've got him replaced and more.

Giroud kicked the ball. Broke his foot/ankle. Had surgery and is out for 4 months.

    Only at Arsenal.
