13. I did the Olympiad, but am quite interested in seeing the pink kangaroo questions?

The questions from the Olympiad that I can remember are:

1) Here is a sequence 5,55,555,5555,55555,etc...
Are any terms in this sequence a multiple of 495? If so, what is the smallest number in this sequence that is?
2) Two real numbers, x and y satisfy the following equation:
x^2 + y^2 +3xy = 2015. What is the maximum value of xy?
3) If two numbers are relatively prime, they share no common factor greater than 1. You choose 6 numbers between 90 and 99.
i) Prove that two of the numbers are relatively prime
ii) Will at least one pair of your numbers always be relatively prime? Justify your answer with proofs

4) Diagram (Can't remember it)

Maclaurin. Did you take the pink kangaroo?

Maclaurin. Did you take the pink kangaroo?
Yes, though I don't think I'll get more than participation
I think I might get a maximum of 70, 75 if I'm lucky

I did the pink kangaroo last year and got 71. Quite unfortunate because I solved 1-16 and put A to all of the questions after that and none of them were A! Had I guessed another of the four letters, I would have got a merit!
