What a surprise, even after Cameron's worst week in office Corbyn still couldn't capitalise on it.

Juncker was voted for by the MEP's in the EPP who then won the European elections. He's no more unelected than Cameron.

I like how he left out the years he got paid by the Iranians.
    Strange one, much easier target.

I wouldn't say pointless, he's the shadow chancellor. Ineffective, maybe, but I wouldn't go as far as pointless.

The topic in question (Britain Stronger in Europe launching a campaign to "Talk to Gran") is rather hilarious though. In essence BSE wants us to be sending postcards with messages like "Nan, I know I should call more but...I want you to know why I'm voting to stay in Europe" as the over 50s are likely to turn out in far greater numbers (and generally for Brexit) than the young uns. Can't think of a more patronising message to be honest.

The idea being that we should try to sway the bloc most likely to turn out and most likely to vote Brexit in a way like "Hi Nan, you'll probably be in a coffin soon but since I still have a future vote the way I want pls".

And if my grandchild did that I would give them a clip round the ear.

Does it also not say something that our elders that have lived though the formation of the EU and pre EU/EEC days think that leaving is the best idea, those that haven't been brought up being brainwashed into thinking the EU is not quite perfect, but close enough to?

It's actually good for the leave campaign that Vote Leave is official rather than GO, because GO is made up of 18 organisations which each have a spending limit of £700k, or in other words it means that the spending limit for the leave campaign is about £11m higher than it would have been the other way around; it's our turn to play the rules to our advantage.

Would've been embarrassing for GO to have won tbh. Farage and Galloway sharing the same platform would be a recipe for disaster for Brexit campaigning.

All parties bar two have refused to impose junior doctor contracts in NI. After a BMA meeting last night, all who attended vowed to refuse to impose.

Who refused to meet with the BMA?
    DUP and UKIP

DUP are a pile of rubbish; no surprise!

Can I ask when it is that you turn 18? Because if it's not before the 23rd of June, you won't be able to vote, even if you've registered.
