So when you were leader of the Tories you agreed with EVERY policy of the RL Tory party's?
When I was leader of the Tories I tried hard to separate it from the RL Tory Party putting forward the amendment that all Parties must always identify themselves as TSR Parties. I now see not only that this was not doing enough but also that the TSR Parties with the same names as RL ones are positively encouraging this association and actively seek it.

But way to hang on the past rather for no purpose...

Dayne, have you published a list of your MP's?

The organisation of TSR HoC right now has left me stumped

Bacondude is the deputy leader of the party, and we are currently going through a leadership election process.

What does the Liberal Democrats think about the recent comments on homosexuals from Luke Richards, President of Warwick University Demcorats?

"I'm perfectly liberal, I just think gays should be shot before they spread the disease to us straights."

And is this a widely held view in the party ?

Oh dear, when did he say that? I can't speak for the party as a whole but I don't know of anyone with those views in the sub forum.

He made the comments in mid June on the Liberal Youth forum.

I don't know anyone within the party (at least on TSR) with this view, and that belief and liberalism are completely incompatable as far as i can see.

And people moan when we equate Don's insane ramblings with the Tory party...

It shouldn't be a surprise to hear that I, for one, harshly condemn such comments. It's also poor form to try and associate us with them.

I didn't try an associate you with them, I just wondered your opinions on the matter. Thankfully you came back with 6the response I hoped for and condemned such comments, pity your RL leader hasn't.

Those comments are truly awful and he should stand down. I can only assume it was a joke gone awry.

I don't think any of us are even vaguely homophobic, and there are many prominent RL LibDems who are gay, so to say something like this...just doesn't add up.
