I'm hoping my Core 1 brings my Maths up to an E or a D, ahaha. In the progress questions we do for Chemistry, I've been getting As and such but in this test, it went really bad. My class literally did so poorly, with the best mark being a borderline C. But I'm not too worried, it's mainly Maths that I need to put the work in.

Starting to reconsider, Medicine, well I still want to do it but thinking of a plan B. Thinking of Pharmacy maybe.
Me too, I've wanted to do a degree in chemistry since I was in year 9 but I'm struggling with maths so much it's ridiculous (although, I did get 60% in stats!! )... I don't know if I can really get an acceptable grade in maths at AS and even if I do I doubt I'd be able to cope at A2 oh my

I'm 100% dropping Maths next year, most of the maths required in my other A levels is vastly easier.

    my predictions are
    Maths - A (although we haven't done a full paper yet we're only up to chapter 4 -.- )
Chemistry - A (I think, get my mock results tomorrow or Tuesday, but I've seen it on the system unless its been changed)
Biology -A (this is more based on half my ISA and homework, yet to do a full test so i doubt this is accurate or achievable really :lol; )
Physics -A ( i got 87% on my exam of everything so far.... there were more wordy questions than i expected )
Further maths - no idea, still not sure if i'm sitting exams this year?

SAdly my half term doesn't start unit Wednesday and my first report comes on Thursday How is everybody ?

on the plus side tomorrow I'm (well my aunty) is seeing about hospital work experience in February half term :crossedf::woo:

Chemistry test tomorrow. Missed out on getting 100% on the assessment task but one mark lost to a careless error, so hopefully this will be my chance to redeem myself

My predicted grades are all Cs. Such a stupid, computer based system they used based off our GCSEs. At least they mean very little, compared to the A2 predictions at least.

We didn't actually get "predicted" grades, just target grades. Seems to make more sense.

If you're interested in science, the Nuffield Foundation seems interesting.

    What? Why?
I'm not doing a subject that i need for what I want to do at uni at the moment, I just hope I change my mind on which degree I want to do, If I don't then i've basically already ruled out all the top uni's

Ah sorry yes, my mistake, I meant target grades! Still, it's a little infuriating when I got all As and Bs at GCSE and I'm targeting Cs at A-level.
