Congratulations QQ and commiserations Fez! A really unexpected turn of events I'm not sure what Fez has done to turn your party against his leadership but I look forward to the new turn of direction that your party will go on.

Saracen's Fez Turns out you were actually very good, mate.
I hope for the party's sake that this song will not be too relevant:

Heres me hoping that this is a bad joke rather than a bad mistake. QQ being leader of tsr labour is a bit like ken livingstone being leader of rl labour.

Time for a mass exodus of the little remaining soundness in labour to the Tories and liberals

    Fez and Ray to Blue?

    (Original post by cranbrook_aspie)
I'm as shocked as you are.
While not a bad guy i have to say that i'd have reservations about being under somebody who proclaimed himself a Liberal about 2 months ago. At least he's from the Milipede type bit of your party.

    (Original post by PetrosAC)
Congratulations QQ. I'm a little surprised....leader so soon. Regardless, good luck.

I will be awaiting Fez's application though, as he must have seen the light and decided to resign and join us....

You don't know what he did? He opposed Corbyn and refuses to worship Stalin. He wants to win elections and not destroy the country.

I am beginning to regret not spoiling my ballot. Corbyn has been a bit of a disappointment.
    Good lord!

I was expecting an instant defense from yourself. If the party shares your sentiment then he'll definitely be gone after the elections next year.

We do now see why QQ went for the recruitment drive, you guys are silly and allow a candidate to flood the party with voting robots for them

What! Why'd you give Fez the sack.

My question is primarily to those who voted Corbyn last year. What are your thoughts regarding the fact that your vote share was 31% (so essentially no gain in England and actually the worst opposition result since 85), that Corbyn has polled worse than Miliband at this stage and that we were told being radical lefties would lead to a surge of support in Scotland (ironically Hollyrood is now in a Tory seat to symbolise how wrong you were), that never happened.

Do you guys think Labour has moved in the right direction or does it simply not matter on the grounds that your at least pure.
Was interesting to hear Carwyn Jones yesterday morning, criticising politicians in London for saying things that hinder their party's campaign elsewhere in the UK.

I'm happy to speak to any Labourites on the right of the party, though I will of course judge it on a case-by-case basis as always

    I am indeed.
No way! Well done! I would never have pegged you for leadership

From a Blairite back to a proper leftist - it's like Corbyn's Labour all over again.
Although hopefully a bit more successful

Being a new member who hadn't read the constitution he didn't know that there was a leadership election happening until literally when I started the thread, so that theory is busted.

It's because of all those new members whom quam recruited, isn't it? They only knew him so they voted for him without giving a darn about who Fez was and how mistaken they were. Shame.

If tar labour is now successful then you have a lot of explaining to do given there are now two TSR socialists and you have been failing for ages

Must admit, i barely suspected he'd even run for a leadership position let alone play a decent game of chess.

The party were clearly foolish for allowing new members while the leadership was ongoing though which is what clearly happened.

I'm not saying they are successful now - and ultimately I don't like bourgeois workers' parties like Labour - but it's good to see a proper leftist as leader instead of a Blairite, because Blairites essentially hijack BWPs and turn them into right-wing parties while their supporters turn around and realise that their party is now no longer a worker's party while their voters are further deceived.
Of course when the left-wing faction of the party returns to power there's the threat of a split because the Blairites have been in power so long.

Sooo...it's nice to see a leftist as Labour leader.

And the SP has been successful.

You stink of pragmatism and hope.. turning blue has always being your destiny. It's only a matter of time (as will Miser and a few on here already have).
