Let us be serious. Anywhere outside North and West London is dodgy af.

cc lol at biology
North London has its rough parts too but it evens out I suppose.

I know someone who lives in Clapham and they've been burgled twice in 6 months. I don't think I could ever live in London tbh.

What Im saying is that there are areas which look quite posh because of gentrification but at the same time are actually dodgy as **** at the wrong moment. Just because it has a Cafe Rouge doesnt mean you cant get jacked

Not even winding you up, but without London the UK would be absolutely nothing. Best city on earth.

London can't & shouldn't be compared to other cities in the UK, it should be compared to other supercities around the world. Definitely not the best, no.

I would say it's the best yeah. That's if you're taking into account location, demographic of people etc. if it was standalone probably not but England is the best country in the world.

London is overrated. Edinburgh is the closest to it in terms of what it has to offer. I prefer Edinburgh. Better people. Less crowds.

London is better than anywhere in the UK. Will refrain from passing judgement on places in which I've never lived, but the weather/lifestyle/general technological advantages of living in the USA makes me think that LA would be nicer.

I can honestly say that LA is the worst city Ive ever visited. Hate it with a passion

BRB 95% of the city is a ghetto with 5% of the wealthy living in gates communities
BRB Hollywood boulevard basically ground zero for Hobos.
BRB city is basically just one huge freeway with traffic jams for literally miles. Cant walk anywhere. Cant stress this enough.
BRB every single street basically looks the same. Everything generic with no charm whatsoever
BRB commercialisation and consumerism at ludicrous levels. Taco Bell economy
BRB cringing hard every 5 minutes at the faux-positivity that everyone seems to have. Americans are bad at times but LA is the worst.
BRB sense of humour has no subtlety whatsoever. Struggle to actually interact at times unless you adopt some bull**** ''The big bang theory'' style delivery
BRB everyone swallowing the Hollywood-celebrity culture. Brain-dead people just conditioned to think this crap matters
BRB unbearable obnoxious liberal types. God help you if you tell someone that you dont think Bruce Jenner is a female etc
BRB unbearable heat

I would live in New York, Boston, Chicago no problem but LA is off the scale bad.

I think if I was to move to the US I'd look at places like Atlanta or Portland. They're big cities but not engulfing.

Wish I went to high school in Texas. San Fran seems like the best place to live, though.

People make it out to be really bad, but just keep to yourself and you'll be fine. Way more people means why more crime. Just don't go to Clapham. Go to the gym most nights in Elephant and Castle at midnight, and I feel safer there.
