    "I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain. "

    Very Buddhist, Dune.

I liked the poem from Dune Messiah.

"Here lies a toppled god —His fall was not a small one.
We did but build his pedestal,
    A narrow and tall one."

mine is a bit more pessimistic

The strongest force in the universe isnt love , isnt strength , isnt intellect , it is fear.
When you love someone , you dont love them , you fear your life without them.
When you learn something , you dont do it to gain knowledge , you do it because you fear what you would do without this knowledge.
When you buy something , you dont just buy the product. You are buying the alternative of the fear of how life would be like without that product.

ITs VERY depressing , but i heard that somewhere like a couple years ago and STILL cant find an instance where its wrong

It was from the 'Godbuk Tleilaxu' (that must have been quite a read!) and if I recall correctly, it was a sort of wry, mocking insight into how the Tleilax planned immense operations like the installation of Gods (perhaps more Kwisatz Haderach-like beings?) and then manipulated them and those that served them. We shouldn't forget Scytale's comment that the KH they created by artificial means committed suicide.
