I learned how to cook (by force may I add) when I was 17. My Hooyo was like, get your ass up in here gurl. You need to learn. Hooyo tried to get me to learn when I was 14/15 but I used to leg it constantly, but that time I had no choice.

I was on full on kitchen duty throughout Ramadan boo. It was disheartening and the said thing is that I don't eat my own food. Weird, I know. But I can only really eat food if someone else cooks
    it.

TURN UP! TURN UP! To the invite tho
I'm very similar in the sense that I don't like eating my own food for some reason. I eat it anyway though

    What can you cook?
Maan I tried to make canjeero last time and wallahi it didn't even look like canjeero by the time I was finished with the first one. Its was burnt to a crisp. I took a pic of it but too embarrassed to upload it here lmfaoo. my mum was like she had me at 19 and i'm the same age but can't even make canjeero

Make all the basics: Baasto, bariis, samboos, malawax, canjeero and tea (LOL!) Walla that is all we eat I think. Can't think of anything else tbh.

I don't know how to make lasagne (My sis makes them) but a couple of google searches and youtube clips and voila I can make it (insaAllah). No stress needed sis, we all make crispy canjeero/malawax. My cooking is all trial and error, so its all cool.
