Yeah, don't worry about it, most people won't have an idea what they are talking about when they mention Linebacker, etc. So you have an advantage straight away. By the way, don't think by mature student I mean I am 40, I am only 24.
Also, I have just added you on PSN.
You got your numbers wrong way round, you meant 42! I'll be 21 by the time I go to uni lol
Late reply... When it comes to Cam I personally doubt he will have the smoothest of transitions from NCAA to NFL will be, yes he is an exceptionally good player but having one excellent year in college is no all out coup. Plenty of quarterbacks before Newton have done so and then gone on to mediocrity.
Look at the excerpt from a blog I found and summarised, that has its points: "Newton only have a single year of starting experience and he was only required to throw 20 passes per game, 280 pass attempts during that one year. Those 280 passes are just too small to gauge a college quarterback's pro prospects. No NFL team is going to have great success throwing only 20 times a game, which is all Newton is familiar with. In addition to this there is evidence that suggests the more times Newton was asked to throw, the worse he got as a quarterback." I hope this doesn't happen to cameron though as if he works hard enough he could potentially be a strong force in the NFL, in answer to the original question though, mid-early first round pick?
P.S I tend to leave suddenly a lot which is why you might see me replying to a quote days later.
That's fine. I don't think anybody minds
And I agree with you. He is a tremendous project, perhaps more likely to have success than Tebow. But he could end up like Jamarcus Russell. Eg. A complete fail!
And yeah I think 10-20th pick sounds about right. However it is too early to tell. He could be late 1st even early second if he performs average - poor at the combine.

I didn't think you meant middle aged Still, a 24 year old will naturally be stronger than most 18-21 year olds.
Unfortunately it does. Two insitutions cannot form one team. Was introduced this year as well. LET DOWN.
What the hell is this BS?! Turns out, my university doesn't have a team any more (nor does it's former collaborator.) The dream of playing BUAF has died.

By the time you get there there may be a new team. If not then you could always set up a stand at the Freshers' Fair and see how much interest it gains. Hold your own practices and enter the team in to the league. You may even get your own statue outside the university.
Frick yeah! If we all made a team (comprised of mainly quarterbacks by the sound of this thread) we could play some Chinese people! We would win because they are all 5ft 6" lolz!
