Do you get told about that with your offer?

Something tells me I won't be getting an offer from Imperial...

I've already been but I'm considering going again...

It's hard to meet someone though because they take you off in groups of 6 when showing you Imperial, so you'd need to either have met the person in a 5 minute talk before or be lucky (incidentally, I was put in the same group as calicoannecash, but I didn't know it was her until after the open day).

Oh. Well in that case I'll go, provided I don't get rejected before then. I've never been to Imperial before, so it would be good to have a look around.

I was given to understand that as per UCAS Rules we can apply to only 5 places at one time and if any one of OXbridge is one of the 5 it will count as two. That means we can apply only 3 others if OXbridge is a choice.

However , I find from these forums that several people have applied to 5 univs including Cambridge. How is that possible? was my understanding of the UCAS rules wrong?

I have NO idea where you pulled that from, but it's completely untrue.

    1) There's no such thing as "Oxbridge" - you can only apply to one of Oxford or Cambridge (as an undergraduate who's not an organ scholar)

    2) If you choose to apply to one of Oxford or Cambridge, you can still go to 4 others.

You can only apply to 4 universities for medicine though, but this has nothing to do with Oxbridge, and you can pick a fifth non-medicine choice.
