    This year in school we're doing c1 c2 d1 s1 fp1 m1 :') it's not too bad surprisingly, might be hard to get back into it after half term but it's ok

    me neither :sigh:

    it's moments though i got 300 * 2 * 4 should equal the total moment by the four men by the four men .. that gives 2400 Nm ... that's as far as i can get :/

    Can you get that at all?

    Or your answer of 2400 perhaps need to double it because two are perpendicular to the other two and have no effect?

    actually i think i just did it .... i think i had to divide it by the radius of the capstan :facepalm: 2400/0.5 = 4800 -.- feeling quite stupid right now :/

    it was all that ship jargon that got me ;D

    180 is pi

    X degrees = piX/180

    What needs explaining?
