Arsenal win the Emirates Cup: Ah, it's just the Emirates Cup.

Arsenal don't win the Emirates Cup: They can't even win their own trophy.

It is pretty funny how Drogba can disappear off the map for a year then still come back and rape you guys when he feels like it

"the penalty was very, very, very, very, very, very soft"

"Gervinho is on a good way to Roma, and Chamakh is on a good way to Crystal Palace."

Gervinho is in Roma for a medical now. Not sorry to see him go.

Anyone else have a baseless and impossible hope that this whole Gervinho-to-Roma thing is actually a swap deal involving Lamela that Wenger's masterfully kept under wraps? :daydreaming:

My reaction when I saw Miquel being brought on against Drogba
He's just too beastly miss the guy man. Would like to see you face Gala in the CL.
Anyway, all I'm going to say is that if you don't spend, expect a season like the last one. I think the form will be more spread out during the season though.

Think he's nailed on for a Borini + 10mil deal with Liverpool, actually. :moon:

He's probably off to Barca next summer, or Madrid if Di Maria stays this year.

How Arsenal could do with Drogba. Yeah he may be 33, but for one or two years he will still run the show.

There's so much Arsenal have to do - its beyond belief that nothing has been done to date. Questions need answering or Wenger really needs to consider himself. Has he taken Arsenal as far as he can? Is modern football too much for him?

Can Drogba be a free agent and switch clubs to play arsenal every week? This is hilarious.

Not really. He just is trying to balance traditional values with modern times. I guess if he gets suarez(I personally think you'll end up with someone else maybe huntelaar) there would be no problem but this is turning out to be the story of old, suarez will be at liverpool or real madrid.

What a stupid boy Ryo is :facepalm2:

Chamakh to play for Ian Holloway. That's gun be good.

And why are we pointlessly playing City in Helsinki. What's to gain from that?

One thing for sure, Arsenal will have a tough time making it to the CL proper. If we get PSV, Sociedad or Fenerbache, it is gonna be extremely close.
