# The Super Juicy CURRENT YEAR 11 (2012-13) THREAD Mark V watch

The further and further I get into medicine; the slower and slower I'm getting at Maths. It took me a good 30 seconds before I spotted the substitution there. T_T
Haha, a medic doesn't really need trig

Did you get any solutions?

I didn't bother to plug it into a calculator, buuut...

Pssht. I'd be embarrassed if I'd forgotten how to do AS level stuff.

But the A2 version of that is just as easy... All it is is a different set of identities...

1 + tan^2(x) = sec^2(x)
1 + cot^2(x) = cosec^2(x)

Yes, buddy. I'm well aware. I was talking about the basic skill of solving trigonometric equations.

I've already forgotten much of AH vectors and matrices. But then again, I don't think I bothered to learn that stuff in the first place.
7. Just to say, people who're leaving TSR for a bit because they want to revise - I've found a cool solution!

You can download an extension for Google Chrome called StayFocused, which let's you block websites for certain time periods. This article has more on it.

So yeah, give it a go - it's really clever!

Vectors and Matrices are absolute buggers

What if they're using Internet Explorer

What if they're using Internet Explorer
Why would anyone deprive themselves of their human rights and use IE?

hi guys, I'm new here
how are the Easter holidays for you guys?

What if they're using Internet Explorer
Then they should start by making better choices in browsers.

Hi
I'm doing all the compulsive subjects plus geography and economics
what's IB? I'm doing Maths, Economics, Physics and Geography next year.

A bit about myself: I like economics

Done a lot of revision so far stuck on a Maths question atm

Compulsive?

Aah, those are great! I love those! I wish I could have done economics

IB is the International Baccalaureate, it's basically an a level equivalent mainly.offered abroad and in public schools

Brilliant choices! Economics... We have a user here who is an econ fan! Aurorae! (I spelt it wrong oops)

Aah, I can help, what's the question?

I don't know how to upload so I'll type it out:
x=7*10^m and y=5*10^n, m and n are integers
given that xy=3.5*10^12, show that m+n = 11

You can use latex I'll type it up for you now:

(1)

So multiply them ans you get:

(2)

Now you have xy in another form.

You can see that (2) is 10 times bigger than (1).

So what would m+n have to be?
Does that help?

yeah that's what I mean .. I forgot which was which sorry :L
Lots of people forget about Northern Ireland, even though there was a big thing about it after Team GB at the Olympics. That's fine, now you should always remember!
