Nope, should have. Had my camera with me to record but was just going with the flow lifting with a couple of guys I deadlift with on Saturdays.

Fun fact. I'm the first person to hit a 6plate deadlift in my gym in 6-7 years.

    Still at F1?

I've seen a guy do either 6 or 7 plates at my gym, I forget

He was ****ing terrifying, Heavyweight MMA champion. Surprisingly nice guy though tbh

The whole gym stopped to watch him though lol

Yeah, I may move to Ilkeston gym though when my membership runs out in Jan. It's more of a powerlifting/strongman gym, which will make squatting/deadlifting easier/better as I'll have access to a squat rack I can bail in, a power rack and a deadlift bar. F1 flat out refuses to get a power rack as "people would drop the bar on the pins and it would be too noisy" and "there just isn't enough space for one". Yet they have two smith machines, one of which never ever gets used, two bicep curl machines, two leg extension machines and even a lateral raise machine (lulwut). K then.

Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyym. Stay on his good side

Don't you train at a 'proper gym' though? With guys who actually lift... 99% of people who train at my gym are pathetic to be honest.

Nah, I lift at a leisure centre where 99% of members use the pool, sauna etc and never use weights.

We have about ten strong guys, not including me because I'm not strong, including Owen Hubbard and some other decent level powerlifters.

We just had a good gym management guy that bought power bars and some nice plates.

Think my 5RM is still like 17.5kg heavier than yours.

Your 1rm is heavier though, and it's beltless and it looked easy.

155 for 6. You'll smash it without trying I'm sure.

I'm not really used to doing heavy sets for reps when squatting, I find myself just thinking "FML this sucks". When I get used to it I'm hoping the weights go up a bit and I get better at grinding out reps and maxing.

Good news is the 190 squat gives me a raw and beltless 1303 total (592.5kg) 190/142.5/260.

The grind was real. Spotter didn't touch the bar, was just REALLY slow in the middle.
