Man Utd fans making excuses for their terrible campaigns in the last few seasons are pretty funny.

How is Martial playing in the wrong position? At the age of 19/20 you don't really have a position. Martial is much more effective on the left because he can run at defenders and he loves slotting it into the far corner with his right foot, or cutting a cross back.

Do you know anything about football?
lol'd so hard at this. This isn't a game of FIFA you absolute danger to society.

Has this been the most disappointing ending to a season ever?

Only 10/11 comes close, but this has been a joke
2 wins in our last 11 back then and we still qualified for CL. Now we've 3 wins in our last 9 and need at least another two to be sure.

Lol what? 100% of what they've put is true? Saying a 19/20 year old has a set position is acting like it's FIFA ffs, or did man like Arsene play Henry out of position for 6 years because at 19/20 he was a winger? I like you Rizzo, but stop being such a ****ing clown

    If football clubs were countries:
-Leicester and Spurs would be getting rich and experiencing newfound stability
-Chelsea, United and Liverpool's economies may have slumped but they're still good places to go for work
-Arsenal would be in civil war between two factions, with the ruling party stashing their cash in a tax haven

Btw if we had repeated our Aug-Dec form we'd finish on 78 points. Less than 2013-14 and still wouldn't win the league

I didn't say that giving a kid a set position is acting like its FIFA, but rather limiting that position to 'placing the ball into the right corner' is. It doesn't work like that when you're on the pitch, there is so much more involved when playing that type of role.

How much do we have in cash reserves? £150 million?

We're obviously not going to spend it on players, so this is what I think we should do with it.

You seen the start of the Poppin Them Thangs G-Unit video where they pull up in a fleet of Bentleys and Impalas at the start? We should do that. Scrap the team bus. Buy a fleet of Bentleys and chauffeur the players individually to away games. Will look balla af when you see the Arsenal motorcade of 20 Bentleys pulling up to the Britannia. Would cost £10m tops, could probably get some commercial deals out of it, and could help attract players.

Scenes when we roll in with a fleet of Bentleys and then lose 4-0 to Stoke and leave with our tails between our legs.

£10m to Cech transfer, £8m to Wenger wage, the rest to Stan's ranch or treating injuries.

Imagine taking a fleet of Bentley's into Liverpool. **** that, they'd get trashed.
Would be the fastest drop in value of something in Liverpool since Andy Carroll signed for them....

"We only want to see us try and win the Premier League
    Premier League
    Premier League"

OK so Arteta, Flamini, Rosicky all leaving on a free this summer. Should others leave they'll go for a price. Let me guess:
    Giroud £4m
    Mertesacker £3m
    Gibbs £8m
    Ox £12m
Walcott £11m (his wage demands surely mean he's less valuable than Ox even)
Ramsey £25m (still a very good player on his day, maybe it's up to other managers and team-mates to give him more of "his days")
Ozil £40m (probably won't lose too much on him)
    Sanchez £33m (same reason)

Can't see anyone else in the squad being sold, though I'd agree Welbeck, Cazorla, Monreal, Koscielny, even Gabriel might not last beyond 2017

we can only hope the manager we bring in is as ambitious as the team who might need only one more point to seal title glory. As in, a thousand times more ambitious than that man who bought (Arsene) Waggoner Ranch with the fans' money. As long as he punches the team above their weight and emphasises team spirit, leadership, discipline. Better than splurging on players on big wages with no proven ability.

btw West Brom's away record in North London since promotion: Won only once at Emirates, Lost only once at WHL

also at least we ain't Celtic fans. Booing the board even though they're gonna win a league (albeit a poor one) again and have already hounded out their manager...

Annoying hearing some pundits butt-kiss, acting like the fans are out of order. They've backed the guy for eons, they can't do it any more seeing teams like Spurs and even Leicester who have so much ambition and heart make something of the season, while Arsenal the club are happy to consolidate.

That's my annoyance this week along with commentators/interviewers pretending the F.A. Cup is still important and something every player and team dreams of winning at the start of the season. Just shilling it every 5 minutes, while silent Man Utd and Everton fans in a stadium full of empty seats watch the players play out a friendly for an hour. Yet when a last-second winner is scored (only from natural inclination of not wanting to lose rather than dreaming of lifting the trophy), they commentate it like someone's just scored the fourth in a 4-0 walkover, 'cause they know too.

There's a reason every final is Big Team That's Underperformed So Looking For A Consolation vs Small Team.

Yeh can't wait for all the "we'll win the league next year" posts, selfies in the changing room and the open top bus parade after they beat a terrible Villa side 4-0 (4, get it?)
