For kWh question, it measures price of power used by the charger, nothing to do with effective power. Power drawn from supply is 3600W which is 3.6kW. So 3.6 x 7 x 26 = 655.2p which rounds to 660p

Ohhh yes that makes sense

Damn I really screwed up on this paper :s

Could I still get 1 mark for the question about cost since I used wrong power(about720W) to instead of 3.6KW ?? I wrote 0.72x7x26......
I believe that question was 1 mark so a correct final answer would've been necessary I'm afraid..

If it hadn't been, we could've got a method mark for that since we both applied the correct formula, just the wrong value. Never mind

And also for the LDR question, it was a voltmeter right?
And what did you put for the sensible max value? I put 15 because that was the value when the LDR had the greatest resistance.
I put a voltmeter - got really stuck on the maximum value so ended up putting 45V since that was the voltage supplied - no idea though!

I'm not 100% sure, but as far as I remember, I put IR first.
I calculated the values for the wavelength and everything

Q2.
Kirchhoff's 1st law and quantity conserved (2marks)
Kircchoff's 2nd law and quantity conserved (2marks)
Current in 750Ω resistor. (0.003-0.001=0.002) (1mark)
V across 750Ω resistor. (0.002x750=1.5V) (1mark)
Resistance in two resistors.(1000Ω, 1500Ω) (2marks)
was the current not 0.030, 0.020 ect? so you would get a voltage of 15V for the fourth question?
