yep, I'm doing lit and I spent over £100 this morning online ordering the books I need to read, and that was only in one section! My mum wasn't too chuffed ahaha, this is why they need to give us student loans earlier than the term we actually start!

That sounds really good as well, jealous about the comedy night and possibly the bingo :P UV night is colour coded as well you have to dress in you college colours and Grizedale is Blue which i'm pretty happy with

I can't see mine which is really annoying but it seems no one doing marketing has heard yet so hopefully they get the timetable up on Monday and then I need to figure out what else I want to for minors :s

Just out of curiosity you probably haven't tried but can you access the Target Connect jobsite for Lancaster, apparently that's where they will be advertising jobs in the college bars and stuff and it tells me I don't have permission when I log in

Yellow isn't exactly the most flattering colour, but i'm happy with mine too - suits the UV party anyway Like wise, i'm genuinely very jealous about your casino night - I have a three piece suit that's not gotten any real action since prom!

Oh, What do you get to chose from for minors? Also have you tried using the Lancaster app? That's how i first found out

And just checked now, it's telling me the same thing maybe it's some error with the entire system if it's not even letting us try log in, but then again 2 is a small sample. Have you tried calling them?

Yes yellow is a good colour to stand out brightly, Grizedale are going to look like smurfs :P but I always knew there was a reason for me keeping my blue tights

Wow prom there is no way my prom dress would fit me now :s

Marketing related subject so I'm going to do Management and the other one can be anything. I'm stuck with that one, I would have definitely done art but the art department wont let me so I'm looking at either Creative writing or law possible Creative writing more. I don't really know though. Do you have any minors to do?

Haven't tried calling them but I think it's a relatively new system so it's possibly not fully active or we are not registered for it yet as new students. I'm going to wait until I get my LUSU number though and hopefully I can get on the jobshop instead, but thank you

You should double check if you need the books for your course! The ones with an asterisk are the ones they use during the course and any others are just to introduce you I thought I needed 24 books but I only need 2 or 3 hahaha

Where can you check your reading list? The only reading list I've gotten in through an email, and that was for theatre. I don't have anything for English Literature yet, as far as I know.

I'm pretty sure my washing machine lived through the cold war, i don't under estimate it :L You get paid to iron!? I should have though of demanding that from my mam since i'm pretty fussy when i iron :')
Hahaha, but the outdoorsy stuff is like 90% of australia! But then again, i was under age and when i went but still really liked the cities as well Never know, there might be a leeds, australia as well! I'm sure you'll find something you'll enjoy - whether it be creative writing, law, or whatever I'm surprised they don't let you mix marketing and art though... it sounds quite relevant to me, especially if you can use it for design! Nope, Just good old engineering classes and a **** load of maths... ahhh, my friends keep telling me that they think i've made a huge mistake

Freshers should be really good so much you can join everyone will be stuck choosing out of everything

Yeah hah I am hoping to not make it too cluttered though! Going to try keep my room reasonably tidy :') erm yeah, but since its history it's only 1/3 and its only the lecture not the seminars so it doesn't tell me much :') got a two hour lecture on Mondays at 11 :') how about you?

I've just filled out a lot from prom, I'm going with more curves opposed to chubbed up though!

I know the head of the marketing department is trying to get them to allow it but no such luck :/ ah well should enjoy the others anyway

Engineering is a great one to get a career with opens lots of doors, but yes Maths makes me want to run in circles screaming

I managed to get my purple card sorted a couple days ago, it was being very silly when I was trying to get the picture on it kept turning it sideways but I gave up after a while and tried again the next day and it was the right way round that time

I’m quite the commuted geek especially about The Doctor it will definitely be interesting. I live in Lancaster but chose to live on campus for the experience and I can’t wait to start! I just need to organise myself a little!

I won't lie, i got my UV paints and stuff today... I felt so awkward handing it over to the cashier lady. But red, yellow, blue, and purple should do me fine

I tried doing mine the first time a week or so ago - it kept tring to tell me i was born in december of '95! But i did it again yesterday, and it knew me now It even tried to tell me my favourite colour was burgundy or something. (If so, it was right D: )
