Hi I'm an international student applying with IB marks... and I'm not so familiar with the A graded system. Does UCL only hand out conditional offers to their students or do some people also get full official acceptance letters?

Also has anyone heard back from Economics?

thanks for your help

It really depends on the students and the course, and how they feel you should be approached. However, most people just get conditional offers.

I received an unconditional offer for Biomed yesterday, but it was a track change (no email). Do Biomed students invited to an open day as well?

Just got my offer for History of Art!
Hi, congrats on your offer! Would you mind telling me when you applied and what your predicted grades were?

Oh, also, did you receive a questionnaire? If so, how long did they wait to respond to you after you sent it back?

Maths offer holder as of about 4pm today. Application sent in on December 12th.
I have booked myself on to the Math Dept Day on Friday Feb 27th as it was the only one I could actually attend.
Anyone else going?
Have also had a pre-offer letter from Cardiff.

AHHH!!! I applied a few days before the deadline because our school has dumb policy of only 6 schools for the whole world but they can't see my UCAS. When did you apply for biochemistry at UCL and what are you grades? I'm still waiting on York and UCL

LSE looks better on the cv and will impress people more, defo. That's not actually very important though. The same jobs are open to you at either and tbh just go for the one which you get a better vibe from and which one has a course you prefer and think you'll do better at. 2.2 from LSE<<<2.1 from UCL

(I didn't even apply to LSE because I didn't like the look of it and if I were holding offers from both UCL and LSE I would take UCL)

I agree! LSE may look more impressive but honestly UCL is world class too! I have lots of friends who're really serious about their career in finance and stuff so LSE was super good for them. But I also know lots of people who regret going choosing LSE over UCL because of the supposed lack of school activities, life and such in their opinions. It all depends on the kind of energy you want!(: for me, definitely UCL>LSE just for the student life
