Returned that crap to my sixth form today
Ye, I think it was last years though.

How did you find it? I thought it was nicer than last years. Still wish I'd dropped chem though after all this time.
There were some weird calculation questions, but overall everything was quite reasonable. The colour questions were nice

Yeah there were way more calculations than there normally are, I didn't think there'd be as many considering all the bromine number stuff in F334.

Ahahah, yes! Luckily they were all 1 or 2 marks so I shouldn't have dropped much from them!

I found the exam pretty all right, considering I didn't do any past papers before it. I had some trouble with transition elements, dropped marks there, and couldn't get the right moles for the water of crystallisation for the last question, but except that I feel like the exam went pretty well for me. I am aiming for an A in Chemistry, but with strong ISA, potentially strong Unit 4 and 5 there may be a chance for an A*. Wouldn't count on it though, haha.

Some of the names examiners come up with are ridiculous too. e.g. this one where I suspect what they were doing at the time heavily influenced the airports nameName: Edexcel s1.jpg

    Didn't get the joke?

They took cis-platin because of how cancerous their textbooks are.

Still think the best maths one is in the FP1 textbook where they write 'TIP: A^2 = A x A' 😂

Anyone else feeling completely screwed for OCR Bio 5 tomorrow? I got an A* in my mock but that was four months ago and I feel like I've forgotten a lot since then and focused too much on my other subjects in revision... if it's anything like the unit 4 paper I might be saying goodbye to an A this year, let alone an A*

Just hoping my marks last year will keep me on an A and I get A*s in my other subjects...
