    Edexcel? Awful...

It was more the stress looking back on it though. But I think most are in that position.
C1 was my best module. It was S1 that I didn't like.

Are you guys going to open your results at college/sixth form or at home?
I will do it like my GCSE results, collect the slip and walk straight out again not talking to anybody.
Then when I'm walking to the car I will open them.

I'm just continuously looking at the gbs of Chemistry and Phy 6 due to disbelief of the fact that they're so high yet they were so hard to solve. Yuck. Chem 4 and 5 were alright though in terms of difficulty level. Chem and Phy 6...:bricks:

Couldn't they still give a verbal offer or intention of giving an offer and then you can call them back once you're officially in Clearing?
They shouldn't give you a verbal offer without a number as they can't see your application with it so would be purely going off what you said to them rather than confirmed results.

In case I don't get to tomorrow, I just wanted to say a massive good luck to you all☺️ The lead up to results day would have been a lot more boring and anxiety inducing without you all! I hope you all achieve everything you want tomorrow and live happy, vibrant and successful lives.

I'm off to bed soon so just a few parting words.

If you're new to this thread: read the first post (it will answer most of your questions and http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/cont...1-exam-results will answer most of the rest)

If you do as well as you hoped (or better) tomorrow: congratulations! Please be kind when you're celebrating and try to help people who aren't having such a great day.

If you don't do as well as you hoped but still get in to your top choice: congratulations! Don't let a small stumble bother you - you deserve your place at university. Please also be kind when you're celebrating - try to have some tact about HOW you complain about being 1 UMS from full marks or *only* getting AAB.

If you don't do as well as you hoped and don't get into your top university: congratulations! You've worked hard and you have a big advantage over most people in your situation - you're on TSR. You won't be able to MOVE in here tomorrow for UCAS and results advisers and they all want to help you (and so do your fellow applicants on here, your parents and your teachers). Take a deep breath, buckle in and take some time to think through what YOU want to do. Disappointing results could mean a complete rethink, a change of plan, a slight diversion or a short (trust me a gap year will fly by) delay....NONE of those things are failure.
Read the quote in my sig
To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

Finally - a few words of wisdom from someone much smarter than me
